My BA Fashion Design learning was undertaken at Institute Marangoni. While doing research to finish various projects, I was excited to visit galleries, know the stories of interesting artists, and more importantly, get impressed by the super power brought by their ideas and works.

Inspired by my favorite artist Marina Abramovic, I applied the professional knowledge I acquired from Textile Transformation class to finish a device presenting teeth of extinct animals in a cave of Hangzhou Safari Park, Zhejiang to arouse animal protection consciousness. In the project, velure and corduroy were used to deliver a sense of warmth. After being reported by local newspaper office, the work was later given the Creativity Award of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University Cultural Festival.

Fine Art attracts me the most with its breakthrough beyond limited forms to express ideas and feelings. In the future, fine art will definitely cooperate with more emerging technologies, whether it be practical or virtual, to interact with the viewers and help create an inspiring world. I am thrilled to be one of those creative designers, using my fashion design background, critical thinking, a wide interest in different kinds of art like drawing, photographing, sculpture, etc. to shape a world in my eyes and deliver my emotions.
