Aspiration came from the social news about a mother with 8 children, in 2022, the Feng County of Xuzhou has a mad woman, who was chained around the neck and gave birth to 8 children from her age of 13 or 14 till now, this woman said she was “picked up” from the roadside by the father of the man. This incident made me very shocked, such extreme incident of “eating the people” appeared in such modern society, which made me start to think and discuss about love between man and woman in current society. I wanted to show in the form of short video, and the general content was like this, the male and female preparing for dating respectively considered their own worry and had supper together, under the gift box and dining table, was it utilization or cheating? Was it acquisition or exploiting? What was the essence of love? Do we really own love? I respectively used perspectives of female, vista and male and film editing method of parallel montage to complete this video, and the lovers appeared in the video were me and my boyfriend respectively.
